There is no Metro in a walking distance. The hotel consists in two different wings which is difficult for the one who gets accommodated where no swimming pool, no gym exists. I believe they discriminate by nationality. And the area is totally not as per my expectations.

Comfy room, ok breakfast, great bed.
The water from the shower spills to the floor. There is a big gap between the glass door and the edge of the basin. Very annoying and bright smoke alarm ceiling light, looks like a disco when dark. I have never seen such irritating lights.

You had to lineup for coffee and water during brealfasr. At times the coffee station was full of customers standing and waiting in line.

The staff was so helpful and upgraded me to a beautiful room: clean, comfortable and fully serviced. The swimming pool is large enough to actually swim with a nice city view. The location is great: a lot of different food, a market, the metro, and a bit more quiet than central Bangkok. The breakfast is on another level, various choices yet tasty!

The property was a beautiful 5 star high end hotel. The furnishings were of a very high standard for absolute luxury. it’s definitely the best 5 star hotel I’ve stayed in Thailand. The amenities we second to none and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. what a wonderful stay.
The only thing that I can say is that the hotel advertises have Netflix, but you have to have your own Netflix account before you can use it. unfortunately, the main restaurant wasn’t open and so I wasn’t able to experience the chef’s lovely cuisine. The was very minor things I will definitely be back for a longer stay next year.

Fantastic room; spacious and comfortable. Pretty decent stay with a convenient shuttle to the train station.
Priced at and advertised as 5 star, very much lacking in so many aspects that make a 5 star experience. Starting with polo-shirt wearing staff who very much lacked training in good customer service, very forgetful staff who had to be called multiple times to refill bottled water or check a faulty phone. Turned out it wasn’t faulty, but that the buttons to dial reception didn’t work but there was no signs/instructions on how to dial reception. Checked in to a clean room with a not so clean bathroom (the toilet seat wasn’t properly cleaned with dried urine drops on the seat and strands of hair behind the sink). Called reception 3 times to clean the bathroom but the request was not met. In the end, I gave the seat a wipe down myself. I have never had such lack lustre service at this price point and purported 5 star accommodation. The buffet breakfast was pretty much the same for the 6 nights we were there and lacked imagination and flavour. For such luxurious looking rooms, the overall experience was somewhat disappointing and I would not stay again unless it is significantly cheaper.
