The location is perfect as I want to stay close to Wat Pho, just walking distance. I can even see the temple from my room. The room is nice, clean, and spacious. I would like to book the room again the next time I visit Bangkok.
There is no elevator so it’s hard for people with luggages

The location is excellent, next to the main temples in Bangkok. The mattress and pillow was very comfortable. Hot water and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff.
It can get a bit noisy from the street (motorcycles), but not sure if that's actually normal in Bangkok. The restaurants around are quite expensive for Thai standards and they close quite early (9pm). So if your flight arrives late make sure to get some food at the airport or elsewhere.

Be careful of going out at night by public transport. I didn’t realise the whole train network stops at midnight. Taxis back wanted 600 baht (buy an eSIM for mobile phone and order a Bolt instead of taxis - much cheaper!)

Nice cosy room overlooking the street and Wat Pho, equipped with all amenities in need. Good location with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, also close to the transports, 5 mins walk to MRT station and Raajini pier.

A hotel that is a closely guarded secret for value for money, location, staff, and great places to eat, it ticked all the boxes for me. The bed was more comfortable than the three other more expensive hotels I've stayed in. This little pocket of town is at the top of my list, and this Hotel will be my go-to for future trips.
The stairs are a little steep and narrow for me, being older, but my room had the best view and would book the same one again! I had help with my luggage which I really appreciated.

They have delicious restaurant downstairs. Only thing is the noise from the street( the whole night cars and motor bikes are passing by) is very bad for me as I couldn't sleep well.. i stayed for 3 nights and used ear bud. just be prepared for that!
The people working there aren't as friendly/welcoming as other accomodation..

my go to hotel in old Bangkok. it’s basic, very clean and with the best location in the city in my opinion. unless you like to stay up late and party, in which case you’d have to get back to the hotel by taxi as the nearby MRT stops running at midnight. there’s not much going on after dark here other than a few restaurants including some nice riverside ones just down the alley a block. at around $18 a night depending on when you stay, it can’t be beat.

Wonderful and friendly staff who were so accommodating. Great location, close to restaurants, rooftop Bars and the grand palace. Traditional-themed lodgings that were modern and well-maintained.
Not that it was a problem for me, but there is no elevator here and the stairs are quite narrow, which could make it difficult for less-mobile people to navigate and cart their luggage upstairs.

Beautiful, boutique-style hotel with wooden floors, a nice cafe downstairs and big rooms with good air conditioning and a fridge. Really helpful and flexible staff who arranged a late check out for me.
The bathroom was a little tired but the big walk in shower was great after a say if exploring.

Well, I stayed on the second floor, and the restaurant is on the first floor. It’s great that each room has a balcony, but you cannot open it because of the smell from the restaurant. But it’s fine; you still have an air-con in the room.

The room was clean and comfortable with a great balcony, and the staff were so helpful - they waited up when we were delayed arriving and helped us back an early taxi to the airport the morning we left. The attached cafe serves great food and the hotel was really well located for nearby sights. Would definitely recommend!
