great room and good breakfast . Mew and Peter from reception where great they changed my room to tower 1, where is pool and fitness room in 10 min, just great service of them, thank you again. Also Tum, Carrot and Tung, are perfect staff congratulations. breakfast was ok in the restaurant.great hotel, quiet big rooms, with lovely staff and superb pool and fitness with sauna ans whirlpool

It was quite near from Asoke BTS station. Also hoteliers were quite kind.
I wanted the Lakeview but my room was not the room for Lakeview. That was a shame.

Location is excellent next to the lake and park. It's quieter than other areas of Sukhumvit, yet an easy walk to major shopping, entertainment, etc. Nice coffee shops and boutique restaurants very close. Terminal 21 is about 15 min walk.

Stepping out of the bath tub can be dangerous as the bath tub is very high from the floor. Very poor lighting in the bathroom. House keeping come to clean the room around 3 PM only

Front desk, concierge very ,very helpful. Room cleaning. Top job. The bell boys, shuttle drivers, went above and beyond what was expected of them. The Cafe Club, staff attitude great and they worked very hard. Nice place too relax and plan the business day.
At the Coffee club, as an experienced restaurant operator I could see they were understaffed. The staff were just short of running at times to keep up. (and amazingly; still smiling!!) A few times I didn't go there because of a possible long wait. I didn't have a hotel information booklet in my room. this would have been very helpful. For example I was on a business trip to attend conference centre; I found out towards the end of my stay there was a shuttle service to close to it.

The Lakeview Shama is losing its sheen. The property is clean but the things & facilities are wearing out. The treadmills in the gym need upgrade. The price being quoted by Shama is way higher than the worth. Earlier yes Shama was priced reasonable but now it's gone higher with nothing much to offer. The only usp for me in Lakeview Shama is the pool as it's a 25m lap pool. Now a lot of properties are in Bkk offering Similar services on a much cheaper rates. So for me the days of staying in shama lakeview are over.
