The location is good, near Chinatown
The update information between hotel and booking was not good. I made a mistake booking for day use instead of overnight. I had already contacted booking.com and hotel to modify it with additional charge. But when my boss came to hotel. The hotel staff didn't have any info and still informed it was a day use booking.

The room was not clean and didn't have enough electrical outlet for many people in one room.

Water pressure at 6 am was good
Size of the room,cheap mattress on the floor,the room was tiny,only room to undo my suitcase ,was a small area in front of the front door.The escalator only goes up.

I booked for my colleague to stay 1 night, even via booking we requested for Invoice upon check out, they said we need to contact :Booking.com" while in the booking stated clearly: we can request for Invoice upon check out . Now we dont know what to do. Very disappointed with either Hotel & Booking.com , we paid before gst checked in since this is a must, but only an invoice ,it becomes very complicated ! Contacted Booking.com for more than 24hrs,still no reply.

The location was very strategic as it is located in a bustling street filled with many food choices. There were plenty of convenience stores nearby to grab food, drinks, or amenities nearby. The lighting in the room was nice and gave out a good feel of ambiance.
The air-conditioning was a little stuffy and the restroom in the room was very squeezy. Did not have a fridge to chill your drinks so do take note.

I liked how they tried to have almost everything in the room considering the rate of this hotel. The location is good. Very convenient.
The digital lock was low battery. It wasn't inspected before the next guest. Luckily it didn't happen in the middle of the night else I won't be able to enter my room. We had to wait for the repair man come.

There is no lift and the escalator going down is not working, you have to carry your luggage to go down. The room is not clean, and the toilet drain is clogged when you bath. Mosquitoes flying around in the toilet. Bed is not comfortable. Can hear people shouting from the street.

The receptionist said the customers must deposit 100 SGD yeah we all know but after I checked out she act like don’t wanna give some deposit back to me until I ask for that ! actually you have toreturn to the customer

The only good thing about this place is the location. Anything else is overrated. Believe me: Do not trust all the other reviews. The Hotel has a pay-for-review under the guise of ‘loyalty’ program separate from Booking.com, where if you give them a perfect review on this website you get a loyalty cash back. I don’t want others to fall into the hotel trap of having great ratings and then book, believing they get a decent place like I did.
The whole place is old, mouldy and has terrible hygiene. Carpets are stained all over the building. Dust is gathering in all the cracks and in top of all equipments. Bathroom are unclean and mouldy. Rooms are stuffy. This place is so expensive for such a fallen place. The escalators are broken, you need to carry everything up yourself. Even the staff was rude and gossip about the guests 2feet away. I could go on and on, but my advise: Be warned.
