Technologically advanced and simple at a time, however you should be open-minded to like it. Self check-in and check-out, so no need to wait. White and clean. Nice breakfast. Equally far from the City and Trafalgar square. Convenient for getting off the Gatwick train at Farringdon.

To get the value for money, be prepared for reasonable minimalism.

I was impressed with the quality of the toiletries and towels. Very comfortable room. Breakfast good value for the price. Many choices. The location near Farringdon and not too far from the Barbican is also a plus.

There was no kettle in the room or complimentary tea. To have a cup of tea you have to get dressed, go downstairs near the reception and pay for a cup. It would have been nice to be able to make a cup of tea in the room. Even budget hotels in the city offer complementary tea in the room. This for me was a deal breaker at Yotel.

Very nice and innovative way of having your hotel room. Room was really tiny (app 12 sq m) where you have everything in one place. Surprisingly well thought of and facilitating a decent stay. Breakfast was ok for the given rate and lobby/bar were very nice and cosy. Staff served drinks in a friendly way.

Yotel is in a great location, Farringdon Underground is a 5 min walk away and easy to get to all the sites. Yotel was clean, well maintained, friendly staff and a great breakfast is offered each morning.

Our stay at this hotel was fabulous! The room was very small but big enough for the three of us. The beds were extremely comfortable and the soundproofing of the rooms was amazing!! We did book the breakfast which we would highly recommend doing, it's not much but there's something for everybody. The gym at the hotel was a nice bonus! Location wise this hotel is perfect! It's near a bus stop and a 10 minute walk to the underground. We loved our stay here and would stay here again!

There was not much we didn't like! The only thing we were struggling with was the temperature in the room - without the airconditioning on it was pretty warm but as soon as you turn it on the room temp goes down really fast! It was pretty hard to regulate but we managed. One thing to note is that when you're on the toilet or in the shower the other people in the hotel room can see your silhouette very clearly. If you're not comfortable with this I wouldn't recommend booking the room we booked. There was no bathroom, the toilet and shower were in the middle of the room separated by a glass wall with privacy coating. We had a good laugh but I can imagine some people might not feel comfortable.

The biggest problem was the toilet as it was stinking with urine smell even after the housekeeping services, probably because there is no ventilation.
