Central location walkable from Victoria, warm in the cold winter. Close to restaurants/pubs. Cheap for central London.

Smell of paint (which is likely temporary), no elevator for luggage (common in older London places), old style pattern bedsheets. Shower did not spray and took a long time to get hot. But it was v cheap for its central location, so I don't imagine they have much money to spend on improvements.

Didn’t like when I walk in from the entrance needed to be hoover the room was okay shower when turn on had no water and toilet was not really flashing had to go with out a shower and had to wash in the sink also bed was so hard my skin was paining while I was asleep also had to carry my suitcase you to the second floor ,

Hotel was very dated. Definitely needs to be updated. Not very clean either. Breakfast - choice of cereals, then only toast, egg and beans on offer. I couldnt stay here longer than 2 nights.

Very dated, bit dusty, bedroom floor and furniture wasn’t very clean, lock to room didn’t work. Bed wasn’t very comfy. All fixable stuff. That said, would stay again if the rate was a bit more realistic.

The location was good for my visit

Room was very hot - top floor ( it had been a hot day), had to sleep with window open but it was very noisy traffic etc, i was woken at 04.00 by very loud argument out in the street. i got maybe 3 hrs sleep the whole night. Staff not friendly or welcoming, short & abrupt, Breakfast very limited and finished at 09.00 on a Sunday, checkout at 10.00 on a Sunday!

Once this would have been a beautiful property but now it’s sad and needs a general tidy up. The bathroom was tiny but at least we had an en suite. On the way up to our room there is a half landing with a bathroom for another room - that bathroom had a brown stained toilet and a filthy sink.
