No daily housekeeping available, not the most clean hotel, used shampoo tubes were above the bathroo mirror, shower curtain was not moving for öpen an closing.

Really basic. Run shower for ages in morning but no hot water

No en suite room ....my fault for not checking possibly but that just wouldn't occur to me. There was an alarm outside which kept beeping all night ....couldn't sleep

Everything else. Smells moldy, the walls and ceiling looked old and crocked. The entrance is very hard to find as the building was likely a house before it was a "hotel". I believe it still does not qualify as a hotel.

Over priced, it looked like a crack den. £440 and not even a kettle in the room. Dated and unclean. Absolutely awful. Will not be staying again and will not be recommending

I am always reluctant to leave a bad review, but to be honest for the money, while it was generally clean it is quite run down - generally very basic and dated. It is not a room you want to spend any time in other than necessary, as it is quite depressing. It is purely functional - a place to sleep, not live. Worse my "family" room on the ground floor, while large, was near a fire alarm that developed a fault at about 2am and for the next three to four hours constantly beeped at a volume and frequency that made it impossible to sleep. I attempted to reset the panel but at 2am was anxious about the alarm getting worse and waking the entire building. The owner never sorted it out - which was not only annoying but worrying if there was a real problem with the fire panel rather than just a fault...! I have recorded on my phone the noise it made for reference in case anyone does not believe me how disturbing it was. The lack of sleep severely impacted my day, as I was on business. Hence, the negative review - written while suffering from a rather bad case of sleep debt. Sorry!

Selling this as Russell Square Hotel was a scam, the real name is Russell Square House Hotel, and this place is small and shabby. Should go under renevations: the floors, furniture, showers, lights, air conditioning. I don’t recommend this to anyone. The prices are too hihgh as well.

The room looked absolutely nothing like the pictures There was no heating and it was freezing - the heaters werent working The curtains did not shut There was NO HOT WATER from the taps or shower The wifi - which I needed for work was not working

Everything could have been better. I feel absolutely ripped off. From the condition of the room to the lingering smell of smoke in the hall way. Do not ever spend your money staying here you will be severely dissatisfied

6 qm als Doppelzimmer zu vermieten , mit WC für das ganze haus in der 1. etage für 140 € pro nacht ist schon dreist. Nicht zu empfehlen.
