Great location nearby the Gloucester Road tube station and the museums, restaurants and shops around Kensington and Knightsbridge. Very comfy and clean room. Attentive staff. Pleasant atmosphere in the hotel and in the bar/restaurant, also for a solo traveller.

Noisy, windows not isolated. No slippers or robe. No minibar. Old smell in the room and looby, probably due to carpet and ventilation. Still waiting on my 150 pounds deposit which I still do not know why it was charged...

Room was adequate single room for the price. Good reception staff and check in. Scoff and Banter bar food was good but I had expected to eat in the restaurant rather than the bar, but it was fine. Service OK, not high service level trained staff in bar. Breakfast was excellent, Maitre D senior member of staff in restaurant was very helpful and professional.

The hotel is located in a perfect zone. The staff is very kind and always available. Everyone was always ready to listen to our requests and anytime we asked for something, the staff quickly took actions. Very nice hotel bar, and even here...amazing staff. Despite all the issues we encountered in our room, the staff understood the situation and offered us: - an upgrade to a new room - hotel membership - credit voucher - free breakfast - free drinks - a refund equal to 50% of the total price I considered what I have been offered as a fair compensation. 5 stars customer care!

Unfortunately we found many issues in the room. But the staff did everything to fix them.

Rooms 748 and 750 were small and cramped. The Hotel was in a good location and staff were friendly and helpful. Our fridge didn’t work but we reported it and maintenance brought us a replacement. We booked 1 twin room but this wasn’t available so housekeeping made the double bed up with 2 separate duvets, not ideal. Rooms were very clean towels were lovely and soft.

Breakfast was a shambles. Not enough tables, and a mixture of low and high seating that doesn’t suit everyone’s taste. We had to queue for over 35 minutes one morning and by the time we got sat down the cold selection was non existent. The tea was luke warm, toast was brought with the beverages so was cold by the time you got your breakfast. The hot buffet breakfast was also cold and wasn’t enjoyable which was a shame as the quality of the products was good.

The Grafton hotel and its rooms were comfortable and the hotel had a good breakfast. The location is convenient -close proximity to tube stations and bus stops. There are also restaurants close by and it is within walking distance from Oxford street, British Museum and Regents park.

We were transferred to the Grafton less that two weeks prior to our vacation. So this evaluation is about the Radisson Blu Edwardian Grafton, which is not in the same area. The grading of the review reflects being transferred to a location, that we did not originally choose ourselves. The location has much more traffic than the Vanderbilt. Due to this we slept with ear pluggs and had a bit less relaxing vacation than we originally hoped for. Some of the staff got a bit anxious when we complained that one of the rooms was not what we originally booked. In the end the friendly evening manager agreed to switch us to another room, which was the least they could do after having promised that the roomtypes would remain the same despite the transfer.
