No bacon at breakfast. Breakfast room was like a cafeteria.

The receptionists wasn’t very nice

Heating was an electric heater. I had to ask for a kettle. There wasn't a bedside lamp.

shower leaked sink was blocked toilet seat wobbled. we didn’t have a view was cleaning cupboard. there was suppose to be 2 single beds but was 2 doubles. room window didn’t shut properly was cold on a night. the breakfast was okay was no bacon or blueberry muffins

Water took a while to get hot sometimes.

The room was Ok. However, the hotel did not accommodate my request for an early check-in.

TV does not function well & does not properly mount on the wall. Table light broken.

really uncomfortable bed, new mattress needed as pretty much felt the last. in the basement rooms right next to an air on condenser going all night too unfortunately

missing electrical outlet near bed. sounds from anorher rooms what people talking, not comfortable bed. i had room in ground floor n very small windows i felt like bird closed in cage( i was getting headache)

there was no TV remote control there was no TV power cord. The walls were black, the bedclothes were put on backwards, the seams facing outwards, etc. I'm not going to describe everything, you'll see

-The doors slammed shut if you just let the door close by themselves when you enter/leave the room. -No lamp or bedside lights (only 1 main ceiling light and the bathroom ceiling light) -check in was too late in the day time(2pm)? -They put the most basic furniture in my room -WINDOW DID NOT EVEN SHUT FULLY AND COULDNT CLOSE IT AS THE WINDOW HAD NO HANDLE TO PULL IT FULLY CLOSED. And as I was freezing most of the night there wasn’t Any spare bedding /blankets

- very tired rooms and the whole building urgently needs a renovation - some rooms and corridors smelled of cigarettes - a bit like w hostel but with private rooms, far from a good hotel - dirty at some areas - no shower hose

I arrived at 7 pm expecting a decent hotel. My room had too many faults and unsafe. The bathroom toilet flush button was missing. Four or five tile were cracked and it was hard to work on it stand on. The bathroom ceiling paint was peeling off. Even the shower head is not working properly the water pressure is low and the head is broken. The main room has mould issues by the window ceiling it is covered with cement. The glass bed room small table is falling apart on its legs. I was going to change rooms but had no confidence there is a better or decent room to change to. i understand this hotel is run by a some cowboy landlord because I recently worked for an letting agency which the owner could not be bothered to fix all his rented properties and left them in despair so he can get any tenants to stay in there as people are desperate somewhere to live . Even the walk way communal area is in a state carpets look like 10-20 years old. it is clear the owner does not care about the property . There is even big problem in side the communal area and outside by the entrance. There is always people smoking drugs weed and it smells. It appears this is a drug and asylum hotel. I use to work as security outside a hotel in Birmingham where the government use to house asylum seekers. I will definitely use another hotel booking site next time and make a social media video / pictures showing this hotel on Instagram using booking .com. I have only one question for Booking.com. do you not have sale agents who visit these hotels to confirm the illegitimate state of condition of the hotel advertisement of the rooms and conditions as advertised are correct? I paid £53 and expect a decent condition hotel.

The room is small bathroom are very small. Very difficult to use the face sink to wash face and hands . There is a small cupboard difficult to hang jacket and overcoats

The bed was quite uncomfortable.

not very clean. marks on the walls carpet, shower holder missing, barhroom was literally tiny I could get my arms across it.

TV had a very poor signal so not able to watch this when relaxing in the morning. The bathroom was clearly older than the rest of the refurbishment and could do with TLC & some attention to detail. But none of these impacted our stay.

There were no curtains in my room people could see into my room

The whole building was very old and outdated, the room smelt of smoke and the bedding wasn’t the cleanest. Hairdryer was last tested in 2013
