Great location just few minutes far from covent garden. Small room but comfortable.
Not as clean as you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Dusty on tables, lamps and floor.

Having been disappointed by several four star London hotels, the Amano exceeded all expectations. Good size room, excellent shower, friendly and helpful staff from reception to cleaners to roof too bar. Will use again.

The location of this hotel is perfect, the fact that there's a lovely restaurant, a bar, and a rooftop bar available is amazing. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in in a hotel!
The room had no mini fridge - which is something that even 2* hotels have. There are not many places to hang things, like your towels for example. You'd have to leave the towel outside in the room. The door of the toilet and bathroom are made of glass, which is fine, but they have a big hole where you can hold them to open or close them. This hole also means, that if you're more than 1 person in the room, odors, and noises will be coming out from the toilet area which is pretty disgusting, as well as people can see through it as it has a 10 cm diameter, and this was unexpected from a 4* hotel. And, hotel guests don't have priority or privilege when it comes to the rooftop bar. If someone books your table they will send you away.

Excellent Location
We have to request for some basic amenities like toothbrushes and bedroom slippers. I was there for like 10 nights and after a few nights I would like to change the bedroom slippers and toothbrushes. and I requested for change of bedding on 5th night which was not done until the last night. By the time i am back to hotel it was late at night and so getting replacements were not convenient. Housekeeping was good.

The property was very modern and clean and in a great location
The room we stayed in was incredible tiny. You could touch the walls from each side of the bed - not enough room to not walk sideways along thr bed and no where to put your luggage so we tripped on it constantly going to the bathroom.

The location really is ideal - very central but reasonably quiet.
Room was pretty small, but otherwise good. The cocktail roof terrace bar is nice, but the staff sit chatting to each other and their mates, which is a definite mood killer for an upscale hotel bar.

The rooftop manager was wonderful. The bath was divine.
As a guest in the bar, when my friend got up to leave and I got up to hug her (I still had drink left), the barperson ran over to us in a panic to tell us to pay. This was rude, poor judgement and accusatory behaviour. I expect barpeople to assess if hotel guests and to read the situation. I hadn't put my coat and bag on, plus I had drink left. I understand they want to avoid walk outs, but please read the room. It was a sour ending on a wonderful evening. Definite room for improvement.

Location is superb, foods, stores, theatres, museums, all just steps away. The design and cleanliness of the bathroom also great.
Room is a bit dusty in crevices. Hallway is too dark and black carpet is adding more dark scene (and also creates a lot of dusts).

Only hot breakfast included when breakfast was purchased was toast, to have hot eggs, sausages, bacon, beans etc would of had to pay extra if available on menu
