central location. perfect for exploring Monmatre and Paris. uniquely furnished and decorated property. staff were truly wonderful. cautious and friendly and helpful. absolute professionals.
did need more lighting (eg - wardrobes we’re lit up however it was still hard to see due to the general darkness of the style ) wonderful staff - so polite but they did have difficulties with service at breakfast ( eg - hot chocolate / cereal may arrive but milk may take another 20 minutes ) also by the end of the visit , summing up the whole visit , I have to conclude the price was exorbitant for what the guest actually received. ( eg - water not replenished in bedrooms which I would consider standard )

This was my 3rd stay at Maison Souquet, and everything was as fantastic as I remember. I especially appreciate how welcoming and helpful the staff were. I have to say, the bar is probably the best one I have been to in all my travels. The drinks were perfect, and watching the bartenders prepare them was fascinating.

Room too small, no storage and no air conditioning. No consistency in service i.e room service and breakfast. I received fewer towels every time the room was serviced and a bizarre breakfast - when the waiter took only my order for breakfast and ignored my partner completely.

The hotel's location is wonderful, right in the thick of the Montmartre district. The history of the hotel as a brothel is fascinating and adds to the character. The staff is WONDERFUL. I can't say enough good things about them. I will stay here again.
The hotel, in general, is a bit dark. This may be a part of the old "brothel" character, but a little more light in at least one of the spaces would be great.

The hotel design has a very special concept, which is interesting, room is comfortable. The pool and Turkish bath is very nice to have on your own for an hour.
Unfortunately the day I checked out was 7/14, staff are late to work and someone brought me pre-made scramble egg for breakfast, it is a hot day and food goes bad on these days easily. I ended up with food poisoning and a temperature, only other thing I had on the day was McDonalds. Found some tangled hair that’s not mine in my towels, and they sold me a 11 euros water when I was asking for more water in the room. I know business is difficult during covid, but things could be better for a “small luxury hotel”

Staff spoke good English and some were very kind. Location is near Moulin Rouge but you still have a huge hill to get to Montmartre.
There are two cameras in the private spa that they strongly encourage you to use without a bathing suit. Sure it’s Montmartre a sex district but that felt a bit odd! Basic design flaws you don’t expect at 5 stars - nowhere to put luggage so small room feels even more tight. Steam room smelled strongly of mold which was sad. Pool was on the chilly side for an indoor pool- my partner could not get in, it was too cold. One staff member was absolutely lovely and went to go help me with something. Another one in French told him not to bother - patronizing move to me, and actually told me I don’t need the thing I asked for (!) inconvenienced me the rest of the day. I’ve gotten better service at a holiday inn.

History of the place. One hour private pool
Mandatory reservation of pool is not anounced, so when I got there, it was already taken, so my spa evening was ruined. I had to take a short swim next day in the morning till I saw it... In the pool there are survailance cameras totally ananounced and made very discreet. Manager told it was normal to avoid a lifeguard..... No intresting TV channels or Netflix.. Quality of breakfast was not bad, but far from expectations of such a place..

Le cadre est magnifique Le décor Les chambres sont belle même si cela a été recrée et pas forcément fidèlement on dirait un lieu chargé d'histoire. Le soin mis pour coller à la période est vraiment appréciable. J'ai adoré
La seule que j'ai pas apprécié c'est le petit déjeuner. Le cadre est incroyable mais c'est trop pauvre pour un petit déjeuner digne de ce nom et les viennoiseries il en faudrait de meilleure qualité à la hauteur du lieu. C'était clairement pas le cas surtout à 25 euros
