The staff was amazingly accommodating, kind and welcoming. Room was clean and quiet even though located next to a busy street. Location was great, walking distance to anything I needed throughout my stay!
The room was really tiny, not that I needed more space, but it did feel quite crammed. I had a room on the 6th floor, up some steep flights of stairs, which wasn't a problem for me, but may not be appropriate for everyone.

Really steep, narrow and winding stairs, including 1 story just to get to reception followed by a further 5 stories of floors with rooms (1st rooms starting on 2nd floor). I didn’t feel safe/comfortable bringing my case up the very winding, narrow stairs.

Excellent location, convenient access to transit, walkable area, plenty of nearby food options, very clean, safe neighborhood The staff here was very friendly. This hotel is small and there are definitely a lot of stairs (and they're very steep) so be prepared to haul your luggage. My room on the 6th floor did have a view of the towers of Notre Dame and at night I could see the searchlight on the top of the Eiffel Tower.
Shower overhead broken, having to turn in key for housekeeping daily (though it was nice to not worry about losing it), so many stairs There is a restaurant in the square below the building and the cigarette smoke and noise did waft up from there until the wee hours, but that was manageable.

The location is absolutely great. The staff at the desk was always nice and friendly. The beds are comfy, and the room was okay (not very big, but in Paris you don't get much bigger than this). Also, a nice view from the window, and it was all clean and well kept.
The one thing that needs improvement is the WiFi. If you're on vacation you may not need strong continuous WiFi but I had to put an hour or two of work every day and the connection kept failing over and over. Not a problem if you're just looking at the day's itinerary in your phone, or uploading pics to Instagram.

Fantastic value in an incredible location. This is a barebones hotel - no AC, no elevator, no key cards, small rooms, etc. But the room was comfortable and very clean, with an incredible view at an unbelievable price.
The shower drain needed to be cleaned out and one portion of the showerhead didn't work. It's also somewhat noisy as it's on a main corridor.

The hotel gave easy access to the center and also the restaurants in the area that were much better than the rest of the center of Paris. I was expecting wouldn't have air conditioning or a fan but I believe that on the day we arrived they bought fans and made our stay much bette. For the price it was better than I expected, the staffs were always very polite and kind. Super recommend!
They didn't have iron but that wasn't a problem, just to let you know that someone is waiting for this
