Great location 5 minutes walk to Gare de Lyon railway station which also has the Metro within. Room was very small but clean and there is no lift. The staff were super friendly and very helpful, As a budget traveller, I would stay here again as comparable hotels near by were much more expensive.

building is very old and could use refreshing, especially in the rooms. breakfast is not worth the money (1 croissant and 1 peace of bread, 1 little butter and 1 small jelly + tea or coffee), no plate to eat your "breakfast" ( they would do better to make it a little bit more expensive (its only 6€) but then with more choice. No elevator, which is not easy with heavy suitcases, and the rooms are very small ( but they all are in Paris), rooms are only cleaned before you arrive, so no fresh towels and soap on the second morning. But again, the price is low and it is worth what you pay for it.

it was in line with our expectations. we didn't spend much time in the hotel, we would just spend the night there, so the small size of the room was not a problem for us. it wasn't completely clean but it wasn't too dirty either.

when we first arrived we were greeted by a rude and uninterested worker who surprised us unpleasantly. we arrived at one in the morning and he didn't say a word to us, he just threw out the key to the room in front of us. this left a bad impression right at the beginning, luckily he didn't work the other two nights we spent there anymore and the other workers were very polite. we found hair in the shower and a stain on the sheets, but the sheets were fragrant (so I hope it’s just a stain that can’t be washed).

The location was convenient to the metro and shops/restaurants. Although the rooms were small and older, they were clean. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The wifi was generally fine. We did not have breakfast here, it would have been nice to have coffee in the room.

The walls were thin but overall not a big problem whilst we were there.

The hotel is close to the Gare de Lyon station and areas with a lot of possibilities, bars, restaurants etc. Rooms are warm in winter.

No elevator, the building is old and not very well maintained.

Having read the reviews I was not expecting a very good experience from my night in this hotel, but: The room was clean and the the sheets crisp and white. Tha bathroom was impeccable (new, I think). And I could leave my big suitcase behind the reception desk. I was travelling with my dog and that was no problem even in the breakfast room.

The floor in my room was a little uneven, and my bed was on a slight slope!

The was no lift and the stairs were quite dangerous, felt unsafe. Shockingly, the was only ONE towel when we checked in ( 2 people) and when I went down to reception and asked for extra towels, they seemed to be surprised that’s the standers anywhere.
