The location of the hotel is very close to Gare de l'Est, and walkable from the Gare du Nord. The bedroom and bathroom were clean, with towels and toiletries provided. Perfectly acceptable TV on the wall.

There was no kettle or tea/coffee in the room, as in UK hotels - however, I think this is the case with mainland European hotels in general. Also, you had to hand your key into Reception when popping out of the hotel, and pick it up again on reentry.

The location: proximity to transport, "city centre", airport train. The breakfast is nothing fancy, usual French fare, but it is a sort of buffet. I wish for more savoury options. Room comfortable, bed a bit short but wider than standard single bed.

WiFi barely worked. Weak signal and extremely slow connection when connected. The windows isolate very well from the noisy street below (the hotel is above a bar, which stays open till after midnight) but I can't imagine falling asleep with windows open.

I think it was a bit overpriced. I had to find something near the train station and didn't book very far ahead. I think I could have found something just about as nice for less with more time. There was a little balcony, but it joined directly on to balconies to the rooms next door, so I couldn't leave a window open for fresh air while I was out, which I like to do. Someone could easily come from another room. The elevator barely fit me and my suitcase, and I carry one that I can take on planes, so not very big. But if your budget is bigger than mine, it's not a bad place.

The Hotel in based on a great central location, a few yards for Gare de I’est and 10mins walk Gare du Nord, with plenty of restaurants near by. I was actually booked into a single room, but the room I got at the hotel when I arrived double with was modern and very clean.

Very close to the railway station (Gare de ‘Est), friendly and efficient staff, small, but clean room and bathroom), little desk and chair, window could be opened. I have to say I am traveling a lot and I have seen many hotels. This hotel is certainly not the Ritz, but this is not what one can expect for the low price. The hotel is a nice little hotel, my room was renovated and faced towards the backyard, so no noise. My bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. I don’t understand people rating this hotel negative. It has an excellent price/performance ratio. I would definitely book it again.

The room was very clean, everyday towels and bathroom are cleaned and the staff is available and very kind at every hour of the day and night. Perfect location, close to three metro and to the train station, makes it possible to go everywhere.
