There is a fundamental design flaw in the power point location. I have never seen in my entire life a power point is located on the floor underneath the bedside table. We have to crawl on the floor, lower our head under the table to mount our plug. Why can’t it be located abv the side table. Is that so difficult? What if water is spilled on the floor. Will we be electrocuted? I blame it on the hotel owner for accepting such unconventional design. Other than that, all the staff are very nice and well mannered. I’m happy with the staff but not the power point. Hence can’t give full marks.

Staff were flexible, quick and helpful. Pool is nice, rooms were spacious. Great location.
Quite an old building, with smoking rooms. Nightclub on first and top floor - be sure to ask for rooms far away from them. We were on the 4th floor and barely heard anything.

The hotel is close to the lively areas and there is parking behind it, the hotel is very suitable for recreation, but not suitable for families. The hotel services are great and the staff is friendly.

The hotel was quiet and nice. It is reachable from both the metro and bus station, it is not in a bad location. The room was really big and the service was good.
The housekeepers always turned on the air conditioning so the room was really cold when we came back. They also left the lights on during the whole day which we find very strange and unsustainable.

I traveled in mid-February 2022, so I paid a good price. In high season prices should be higher. I found the location of the hotel very good: less than 20 minutes by metro from the Airport, including one change of Metro line for just one station. From the metro station you need to walk for 4-5 minutes. I got an apartment with separate sleeping and living areas. No balcony, no kitchenette, but I had a tea pot. Personnel helpful and friendly, however my request for late checkout was refused due to fully booked hotel (not sure if this was true). Did not try breakfast. One pub and two nightclubs are on or adjacent to the premises. Did not try them due to assumed excessive cost of alcohol. Few supermarkets are nearby. Plenty of dining options, including common fast-food chains and Indian restaurants - the neighborhood seemed to be populated mainly by communities from the Indian subcontinent. the Old city is in walking distance from the hotel. World Trade Center is a couple of metro stations away.
Bathroom looked outdated.

Stay in the heart of Dubai

The Rolla Suites Hotel is only 400 metres from Al Fahidi Metro Station. The roof top swimming pool with sun loungers helps unwind and relax while sipping a refreshing drink.
